Each participating band will receive a $250 parade appearance fee from Cortana Kiwanis Foundation and will also have the opportunity to compete in the Battle of the Bands. That’s your chance to show Baton Rouge that you are the best band in town.
NEW The Battle of the Bands will perform in front of the VIP area during the parade for a max of 2 minutes. The top three finishers in the Battle of the Bands will have the option to choose between a cash prize or a jambalaya fundraiser sponsored by Cortana Kiwanis Foundation. All bands will be notified of the winner at the end of the parade.
